I Will Be Your Hope

Life is pain, that is true, but that doesn't mean it's bad
You can still be happy too without not being sad
If ever your teary eyes are blocking out the sun
You can lay your pain on me and I'll count that as fun

When you've burned all your bridges I'll throw you a rope
When you feel too dirty I'll hand you the soap
When you think you are stupid I will be like, nope
When you are just hopeless I will be your hope

There's no way to end it all, it just goes on and on
Adding pain on top of pain means pain is never gone
We have to hold it all in hands with palms pierced through with holes
We can only have it all if we give up our souls

When you've burned all your bridges I'll throw you a rope
When you feel too dirty I'll hand you the soap
When you think you are stupid I will be like, nope
When you are just hopeless I will be your hope

If you stumble on the way I will pick up your cross
You'll have to take it back you know but that won't be a loss
Because I will still carry it, and I will carry you
It's not any trouble since you're carrying mine too

When you've burned all your bridges I'll throw you a rope
When you feel too dirty I'll hand you the soap
When you think you are stupid I will be like, nope
When you are just hopeless I will be your hope

I don't need painkillers because I think you're dope
When you are just hopeless I will be your hope
